5 Dog Products That Will Change Your Life
If you’ve followed me on social media for any amount of time, you’ve probably figured out that I love, and I mean love, dogs.
Since I don’t want kids, my pets are my fur babies — and a large part of my time is spent making sure they’re well taken care of.
Not only do I take care of my three pups on the daily, but I’m also a dog walker/sitter on Rover part time.
While living in Colorado, I’ve been able to snag an extra grand a month just by hanging out with sweet animals via Rover. You can sign up to be a walker or sitter by clicking this sentence.
Dogs are a large part of my life, so it makes sense that I have products I love surrounding my pooches.
Here are 5 dog products that will change your life:
Before we bought these gentle leader halters, walking the dogs was a pain in the ass. There’s really no other way to put it.
Each one of them pulled and choked themselves endlessly. They were hard to control and it made outings unpleasant. Which isn’t great, because we live in an apartment and we have to take them on walks a couple of times a day at a minimum.
It wasn’t fun for them, and it definitely wasn’t fun for us.
We looked into ways to ethically fix the problem and we came across gentle leader halters.
Each one of these harnesses are $20.
When your pup pulls on the leash, their heads are pulled back, which makes it uncomfortable for them. Thus, they do not pull to avoid that feeling.
These were a game changer, friends. Walking them is a breeze now!
This item is a bit bougie, but if you can afford it, completely worth it.
We have 3 dogs, so having 3 large, metal dog crates in our small apartment didn’t appeal to me.
We found these on Wayfair.com and love them.
They are big, durable and they fit in with our home decor.
The dogs also really enjoy napping in them. They don’t enjoy it so much when they’re in trouble.
Australian Shepherds are so dang hairy, y’all. That’s why, if you have dogs that are prone to shedding, you need this brush.
Australian Shepherds are one of the breeds that have what’s called a “double coat” This means they have the sleek colorful coat made of long hairs that makes them look so pretty, and a dense, woolly undercoat that gives them their lovable floof.
The undercoat works like the insulation of a fluffy winter jacket, keeping the pups at just the right temperature. The outer “guard coat” protects the insulation from getting bogged down with water or dirt.
These two coats work together to keep double coat puppers warm in the winter, and cool in the summer, so it’s very important to help them keep clean and groomed.
We have a couple different brushes that we use, but the most important is the shedding rake. It helps detangle mats, thin out the undercoat when it’s shedding season, and helps trim any damaged hairs.
This thing again!? YUP!
The Chom Chom is my absolute favorite product in my house. Period.
I was the genius that decided to purchase a white comforter with three rambunctious and dirty dogs. Go me.
The Chom Chom is essentially a lint roller for pet hair. You can roll it on your bed, couch, whatever has fabric in your home and the hair is collected in a little chamber.
You will be amazed with what comes out of your furniture. It saves me tons of money because I don’t have to wash my couch fabric or my comforter every single week.

I really should be an affiliate for Kong products because holy ish. They are the bees knees to pet owners.
If you bring my pups any other brand of dog toy, they will destroy it in .2 seconds. Especially plush anything. Trust me.
Not so with Kong. Kong balls, chews, dog beds, ropes, you name it, are durable.
They are well made, they last forever and they are essential if you have a puppy.
Pro Tip: Freeze peanut butter inside a kong ball for a tasty, 30 minute distraction when you need to get some peace and quiet. You’re welcome in advance.
Pets are our family, so when it comes to products in their lives, we want to make sure that they are the best.
We also want to make sure that they are worth it and easy to use.
I hope that you find this list helpful!
